Data Deletion Request

We respect your privacy and give you control over your personal data. If you would like us to delete your data from our systems, you can submit a data deletion request at any time.

1. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, please email us at:

In your email, please include:

Full name
Email address you used with our services
Any other identifiers linked to your use of our services
- e.g. username, phone number (if applicable), social login (Google, Facebook, etc.)
Description of your request, for example:
- “I want my account and all associated personal data deleted.”
- “Please delete my email from your newsletter / marketing list only.”
Country of residence (to help us apply the correct legal framework)

If you are making a request on behalf of someone else, please also state your relationship to that person and be prepared to provide proof of authority if needed.

2. Verifying Your Identity

To protect your privacy, we may need to verify that you are the person who owns the data before we proceed. Depending on the situation, we may:

Ask you to reply from the email address associated with your account, or
Ask for additional information to confirm your identity.

We will not use this information for anything other than verifying your request.

3. What Will Be Deleted

Once your request is verified and confirmed, we will delete or anonymise, as far as reasonably possible:

Your user account/profile (if applicable)
Contact details (e.g. email, phone) stored in our systems
Usage data that can reasonably be linked back to you personally
Marketing records, such as newsletter subscriptions and campaign lists

Where technically possible, we will also:

Remove or anonymise your data in backups during their normal rotation cycle
Remove or anonymise data in internal tools and logs that can reasonably identify you

4. What We May Need to Keep

In some cases, we may not be able to delete certain data immediately, or at all, if we are required to keep it for:

Legal or regulatory obligations
Accounting, tax, or audit requirements
Security, fraud prevention, or abuse monitoring
Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims

Where this applies, we will:

Minimise the data retained
Restrict how it is used
Delete it as soon as we are no longer legally required to keep it

5. Data Held by Third Parties

If you have interacted with us through third-party platforms or services (for example, social media, app stores, payment providers, or messaging platforms):

We can only delete data that we control in our own systems.
You may also need to send a separate request to those platforms to delete data held by them directly.

Where possible, we will indicate which third parties you may need to contact.

6. Response Time

Once we receive your email at contact@pendakwah.tech, we will:

Acknowledge your request within a reasonable time.
Verify your identity, if needed.
Process your deletion request as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to any legal or technical limitations.

If we cannot fully comply with your request, we will explain why and inform you what we can do instead (for example, partial deletion, restriction of processing, or anonymisation).

7. Effects of Data Deletion

Please note that data deletion is usually permanent and may mean:

You lose access to your account and any content or history stored under it.
We may not be able to restore any deleted information later.
Certain services or features may no longer work for you.

If you only want to unsubscribe from marketing emails, you can either:

Click the “unsubscribe” link in any of our emails, or
State clearly in your email that you only want to be removed from marketing lists, not to have your entire account deleted.
