The Ultimate Generative-AI Bootcamp with Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti

A three-day, full-throttle playground of generative AI — from prompt craft to full teaching videos, AI avatars, voice clones and code. Participants came for PdP video skills and left having weaponised almost every image, video and audio model available.

Selesai — and what a run. Over three intense days in Johor we ran what’s easily been the longest, deepest and most tool-heavy training of the year with teams from Politeknik and Kolej Komuniti. The original brief was simple: use AI to make teaching videos for PdP. We didn’t stop there.

What we smashed through

We tore into the big chat models: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Manus AI and Genspark — prompt engineering until the outputs behaved.
Full media pipelines: text→image, image→image, text→video, image→video, video→video and text→speech — experiments, breakdowns and practical templates for each.
Premium tool playbook: Higgsfield, Kling AI, Runway ML, Freepik, ElevenLabs and HeyGen — we tested paid plans and squeezed every feature for classroom use.
Real deliverables: every participant produced a complete teaching video, an AI avatar, voice clones and multiple supporting assets. No half-measures.
API deep dive: hands-on with Google VEO 3 to generate video at scale — each participant activated the RM 1,200 Google Cloud signup credit and we “balun habis-habisan”.
Coding vibes: building lightweight apps from canvas UIs in ChatGPT/Gemini to Claude Code and the Gemini CLI — turning prototypes into sharable tools.
Side note: we even ran the infamous “nano banana” test — because every bootcamp needs an inside joke. 🍌

The reality (and the fun)
Classes ran from 08:30 until 22:30 most days. The best part? On the final night people simply didn’t want to leave — organisers had to politely (and then firmly) close the room. First time ever both participants and the trainers were literally made to leave. That tells you everything about the energy in the room.

Reflections (truth bomb)
We’ll be honest — we can’t keep running this alone again. Preparing the modules took nearly a month and the delivery was a marathon. Amazing to do, but it’s proper heavy lifting. So: expect a scaled version next time, or a bigger facilitation team. 😅
